Teaching 2.0 in the One-Computer Classroom

This is the post to accompany a talk I gave at the PARK language school conference in Brno, Czech Republic on April 2nd, 2011.

You are welcome to download the presentation, especially if you want to see how the Powerpoint games work (you can’t see this in this version of the presentation). Please credit me as the source if you do this.

All of the links are clickable.

If you would like to know more about how exactly to use any of the things I mentioned in the presentation, please leave me a comment below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

  1. This is another one of your posts to keep and study – such useful info!
    Thanks for mentioning my post!
About Triptico, since I don’t have Interent in the classroom, should I download it to my home computer, prepare, and copy docs to flash drive for the class computer? Or should I copy the program onto the flash driver (can I?) and install it in class?
I’m learning a lot from you!

    1. Hi Naomi,
Not sure how it works with downloading the software on one computer then moving it to another. You’d need the program on every computer you want to use it on. The best thing to do is to contact David, who created the program, and ask him. His Twitter handle is @David_Triptico or you can contact him through the website http://www.triptico.co.uk/contact/ – he’s usually very quick to respond and very helpful!
Glad you’re finding these things useful – I learnt them all through Twitter, and am just collating them and resharing them!
      Sandy
